Joseph Flanagan was born on the 13th September, 1923 in Dublin, Ireland. His Mother's maiden name was McGrane. *CWGC have his age at death as 28 but he was, in fact, 22 when he died.
Joseph died of heart failure in his home town of Dublin. We are researching to see if he was on leave or if it was the result of wounds received in action at an earlier date.
