Pte. E.F.J. Akehurst

Ernest Frank Jenner Akehurst was born in October 1918 in Battle, East Sussex. His Mother's maiden name was Hunt.


Before the War he was working at Lakehurst Farm, Ashburn, and was listed as a 'Farm Carter'.


He was discharged from the Army in May 1945 and was listed as living in Ashburnham.


Ernest died in August 2005 at the age of 86 and was living in Taunton, Devon at that time.
