HIS STORY
Arthur Brookes was born in 1916 in West Bromwich and was still living there in 1941.
In the C Company reorganisation, November 1944, he was posted to 12 Platoon, B Company.
He is listed among those awarded a G.O.C.'s Commendation Card in the Borderers' Chronicle. (September 1945, p.110)
