Hubert Christopher Hatton-Hall was born on the 9th July, 1892 in Altrincham, Cheshire. In WW1, he was a Captain in the King's Own Scottish Borderers and Royal Tank Corps, France and was awarded the Military Cross.
He married Thelma Neville in Cologne, Germany after the First World War.
He then married Margaret Rosa Clark (nee Marsden) in October 1936 in Southport, Lancashire.
*His son, Nigel James Neville Hatton-Hall (S No. 14445227) was born in Malta and 1925 and also served in the KOSB. Nigel was made a 2nd Lt in July 1945.
Hubert was reported to have died on active service in London.
"WW2, Colonel in the Imperial General Staff of the King's Own Scottish Borderers. Died on 26 November 1945 at 23 Bentinck Street, Marylebone, Middlesex."
