Son of William O. Cartlidge and Emily Cartlidge (nee Morgan); husband of Vera Irene Cartlidge (nee Bridgewater), of The Leys. Tamworth.
HIS STORY
James Cartlidge was born in 1911 in Leek, Staffordshire.
In 1941 he is recorded as living in Stoke-on-Trent.
On April 6th, 1943 he married Vera Bridgewater in Sutton Coldfield by Special License.
James died at the E.M.S. Hospital in Basingstoke, England.
