From 9th Infantry Brigade War Diary for 12th September:


Day was wholely devoted to the perfecting of final details for the parade tomorrow. The band of the Life Guards now att 8 Corps will do the honours for the march past of 2 Lincolns. 1 KOSB and 2 RUR having their own pipe bands are “self contained” in this respect.
