By 0900 hrs it was reported that Pt 312 had already been taken and that 8 and 185 Inf Bdes were pushing on towards TINCHEBRAY. The Bn therefore remained in reserve at short notice to move.


Several enemy shells fell around area about midday, but apart from these the day was quiet.

1 KOSB reported that the German truck they shot up at 645314 three days ago, had in it a number of grenades.
