Robert Lashley was born in 1916 in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
He was discharged from the Army in February 1946 whilst serving with the 5th Bttn KOSB.
He married Margaret Clark in July 1946 in Newcastle.
He died in January 1973 at the age of 57.
