Pte. W. D. Benson

William Douglas Benson was born in 1918 in Penicuik, Scotland. His Mother's maiden name was Tait.


He married Elizabeth Gordon MacDonald in 1942 in Penicuik.


He was discharged from the Army in February 1945 as a Corporal.


William died in 1984 at the age of 65.
