James Armit Rankin was born in Cowdenbeath, Scotland in March 1913 and was a Brass Moulder before the War.


He enlisted in the Army in November 1931 and was 5 foot 4.5 inches, weighed 119lbs and had hazel eyes and dark brown hair.


It looks like he served with the BEF from October 1939 - March 1940.
