John Tough Harper was born in 1911 in St Nicholas, Aberdeen. His parents were James Harper and Mary Ann Cordiner. He married Alison Osburn in 1938 in Aberdeen.
John's medal cards were issued in April 1950 and he was living in Victoria Road, Aberdeen at that time.
He died in 1969 in Aberdeen.
