L/Cpl C.E.J. Wilkie

Charles Edward Wilkie was born in 1916 in Maryculter, Scotland. His Mother's maiden name was Alexander.


Before the War, he worked for the North Of Scotland Bank.


He married Winifred Amelia Smith in 1944 in Aberdeen.


At the time of his medals being awarded in 1950, he was living in Montgarrie, Aberdeenshire. He left the Army as a Lance Corporal in The Royal Scots.


He died in 1983 in Aboyne, at the age of 67.
