George Cruickshank Wright was born in 1923 in Keith, North East Scotland.
He was discharged from the Army in November 1945.
He married Emily Isabella Williamson in 1948 in Maryculter.
At the time his medals were awarded in August 1950, he was living in Milteimber, Aberdeenshire.
George died in 1996 at the age of 73.
