Pte B.E. Greig

Benjamin Erridge Greig was born in September 1922 in Aberdeen, Scotland. His mother's maiden name was Christie. His father, Daniel was also in the Armed Forces in WW1 and was a POW at one point. (He died 6 weeks before D-day).

Benjamin married Veronica Pressdee in April 1945 in Swansea, Wales.

It looks like he left Scotland to sail for Canada aboard the 'Atlantic' in July 1954. His occupation is listed as 'Clerk'.

He died in March 2008 in British Columbia, Canada and is buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Victoria.
