Pte A.G. Dorrington

Albert George Dorrington was born in November 1915.


He was attested to the Royal Regiment of Artillery in 1938 and was transferred to 1st KOSB in December 1943. However, the 1939 Register has his occupation listed as 'Demolition Labourer' and living with his wife, Gladys, in Leyton, Essex. (He married Gladys M Cowell in April 1938).


His medals were awarded in March 1950 and he was living in Leytonstone, Essex, at that time.


He died in 1979 in waltham Forest, Essex.
