Leonard Henry John Beckingham was born on the 7th of September, 1924 in Camberwell, London. His parents were Henry Thomas Beckingham and Jessie Dance.
He married Gladys Freda Gibbs in Bromsgrove on the 13th of October 1945.
He was also wounded later in the War in the attack on Bremen on the 25th April 1945.
