Pte H. R. Brown

Hugh Ruddock Brown was born in 1908 in Kelvin. His Mother's maiden name was McAnally.


He married Mary Madeline C Macleod in 1936 in Blythswood, Glasgow.


He was discharged from the Army with rank of Lance Corporal in June 1946.


At the time of his medals being awarded in December 1949, he was living in Glasgow.


Hugh died in 1969 at the age of 60.
