Pre-war Palestine – medals re-issued in South Africa

John Eadie is on the 1st Battalion's Palestine medal list for 1940.

His medal card shows only the War Medal and the Defence Medal, so he does not appear to have served in Normandy or North-West Europe.

His medals were re-issued in 1979, when he was living in the Transvaal, South Africa.
