1st KOSB War Diary for date of wounds

A carrier patrol went down the line of the canal towards the railway bridge but were finally stopped by MG and Mortar fire from the farm at 715344.


During the afternoon "B" Coy moved down to 719345 which had been found empty by patrols in the morning.


They were withdrawn at 1800 hrs as an Arty fire plan was to be executed on the wood just to the East.


At 1900 hrs the Bn was relieved by one Bn 185 Bde and moved to concentration area 715356.


At 2100 hrs after Arty barrage the Bn moved down and occupied the position PEACH in area 6924 astride main road.
