George Dorward Penman was born in Hawick, Scotland in 1919.
He married Agnes Hamilton in 1943
He is listed as 'accidentally killed' on 1st June 1945 whilst attached to 52nd Lowland Division. (It's rumoured he died in a car accident in Oschersleben)
