George Connell was born in 1920 in Paisley, Scotland.
His death was a tragic accident when he and a couple of friends set out to sea on an old Seaplane Float on the 13th July 1945.
He and his friends bodies were found over the next couple of weeks. George was 25 and had been married for 2 years.
