A diet plan is usually a one-size-fits-all approach, while weight-loss coaching is personal to you and involves accountability, motivation, and behaviour change strategies. Coaching focuses on building healthy habits rather than temporary fixes. No fad diets, just educated food choices.

Yes! Each client receives advice based on their current fitness level, goals, dietary preferences, and any health conditions.

4. How long does it take to see results?

Results vary depending on the individual’s starting point and level of commitment. Most clients see changes within the first 4–6 weeks, but sustainable weight loss is a gradual process.

Yes, I offer virtual coaching sessions that can be done from anywhere, providing support through *video calls and online communication. (*Teams, Zoom, Facebook, WhatsApp)

6. What happens during a weight-loss coaching session?

During a session, we discuss your current eating habits, review your progress, adjust your plan if needed, and discuss any challenges you're facing. Sessions also focus on accountability and motivation to keep you on track.

7. Will I have to follow a strict diet?

No, instead of a restrictive diet, I emphasise a balanced, sustainable eating plan that fits into your lifestyle and preferences. In my experience, it's no good recommending eating food you just don't like as you won't stick to it and count it as a failure.

8. How often will we meet or communicate?
​
The frequency of meetings depends on both of our availability. Typically, clients meet or communicate with me weekly for approx 30-45 mins. I always recommend an initial fact-finding session and then a weekly catch up to chart progress and discuss any tweaks we can make.

9. Do I need to join a gym for this program?
​
No, you don’t need to join a gym. I can tailor a fitness routine for you if you wish but my main focus will be on making sustainable changes to your food intake that produces results. (Weight-loss is approx 80% diet and only 20% exercise).

10. What if I have health issues or specific dietary needs?
​
I take all health conditions and dietary needs into account when creating your plan. *Please share any medical concerns on the initial call/meeting so I can create a safe and effective program for you.

11. Can I still enjoy my favourite foods while losing weight?

Absolutely! The key is balance and portion control. My goal is to help you enjoy your food while achieving your weight-loss goals without feeling deprived. *Warning - your favourite foods may change once you see results...

12. How much does weight-loss coaching cost?
​
Initial consultation is free and then a 30-40 minute catch-up session (preferably weekly to help with motivation) is currently only £10 GBP - or equivalent. *Check the Home page for current offers.

13. Do you provide support between coaching sessions?

Yes, I offer email or messaging support between sessions to help you stay on track and answer any questions you might have. I do try to get back to people within a day when possible.
