Died of his wounds. View This Day John Copeland Falconer was born in April 1916 in Newcastle upon Tyne. His Mother, Margaret's, maiden name was Boag. (Acc to the 1939 Register she was already a widower). The 1939 Register lists John as a Wood Machinist. John is in both the official Wounded list and is also in the Killed In Action lists. Judging by the date, he died from his wounds and was not removed. We have chosen to keep him in this list but provided a link to his other page here .
