Research notes (if anything found)
Signal Platoon. 'Our old friend', in Brussels on leave, wearing brown shoes borrowed from Corpl. Jimmy Bostock. NB: possibly connects to BC Sept45 ''Bowser' Brown', Signal Platoon, or to the site's distinct 'Brownson' surname entries (Pte Robert/Derek Brownson) - ambiguous, needs checking. p.58
'Bowser' Brown was promoted to C.O.'s driver in the M.T. Section in early 1948. (Borderers' Chronicle, March 1948, p.11)
