Whithorn Cemetery is in the small royal burgh of Whithorn in Wigtownshire, a town linked with St Ninian and long a place of medieval pilgrimage. The cemetery lies next to the grounds of the old Priory and the parish churchyard, and it came to be owned jointly by the town and county councils.
