James Nunnerley born on the 6th of December, 1914 in Warrington, Lancashire. Parents are James Nunnerley and Florence Mary Wilson.


Before the War he was a 'Letterpress Printer'.


He married Ivy Rodgers in April 1939 in Newton, Lancashire.


Wounded twice.

1st KOSB War Diary for date of wounds

The recce party left again in the morning while the Bn stood by to move. 


The Bn left in TCVs at 1730 hrs and arrived in the area LIESEL 666145 at about 2000 hrs. Considering the bad conditions with rain and darkness, the move went well.
