George Purdie Whittet was born in 1916/17 (researching) in Kilmalcom, Scotland. His parents were Alexander Smith Whittet and Catherine McInnes.
He married Jessie Wilson Knox on the 12th of February, 1944 in St Giles.

George died in 1993 in Elgin, Scotland, at the age of 76.
