Henry Buckler was born in 1916.
He was wounded twice during actions post-Normandy.
He was discharged from the Army on 31st January, 1946 whilst serving with 5th Bttn KOSB.
He was awarded his medals on the 15th October, 1948 and was living in Leeds at that time.

Training as per programme.
The Pipe Band played retreat at 1700 hrs.
A conference for all officers and Pl Comds on the assault of a large and strongly held wood was held at 2030 hrs.
Capt Corbean arrived with the first of the Armd Carriers.
