1st KOSB War Diary for date of wounds
A fairly quiet day.
"C" Coy were in rather an exposed posn and were subjected to a certain amount of mortar fire during the day.
Lt Simpson of "B" Coy took out a fighting patrol to the farm at 959431 and inflicted several casualties on the enemy in the ensuing battle.
"D" Coy sent out a recce patrol to HERRINGSCHENHOF 963430, which was found to be unoccupied.
