Cpl William Pake

Corporal Pake had been in the Army for over 12 years at the time of receiving his wounds. He took part in the evacuation at Dunkirk and spent some years on service in India.


*He is one of the signatures on the 50 Franc Note signed by member of 1st KOSB Signals the night before D-Day. You can read more about it here.


William was living in Wellington, Somerset when his medals were awarded in 1948.
