Most of the Bn had arrived in the area WERBLECK 648 by 1036 hrs except for the bulk of "S" Coy. At 1300 hrs tactical recce parties went to HEILEGENLO and found it unoccupied. The Bn arrived at 1630 hrs and settled in as follows :- HQ at 550644 and Coys at 553643, 549641, 548647, 547642. About 20 enemy shells fell during the afternoon but otherwise it was peaceful. The electricity, telephones and water were still in working order.
