During the morning preparations were made for the move in our role as L of C protection for 30 Corps. At 1400 hrs advance parties left for GROENLO in HOLLAND. The Bn left with the Bde convoy at 2100 hrs arriving some two hours later. The Bn task was to protect the exits from GROENLO to the NORTH which was done with three companies forward and one company in reserve. It was a peaceful though damp night.
