NEW KILPATRICK (OR HILLFOOT) CEMETERY

New Kilpatrick Cemetery, also known as Hillfoot Cemetery, lies on Boclair Road in Bearsden, on the north-west edge of Glasgow. It opened in 1903, and its layout was chosen through a design competition. Two exposed sections of the stone base of the Roman Antonine Wall can be seen within the grounds. The cemetery, with its Art Nouveau gates and boundary wall, is a Category B listed site.
