GLASGOW (ST. PETER'S) ROMAN CATHOLIC CEMETERY

Awaiting photo
St Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery is at Dalbeth, off London Road in the east end of Glasgow, on land the Catholic Church acquired in the mid-nineteenth century. It has distinct Polish and Italian sections, and well-known Glasgow Catholics are buried there, including John Wheatley. The cemetery holds 118 First World War and 155 Second World War Commonwealth burials, scattered throughout the grounds, and a screen wall names those whose graves are not individually marked.
