GALASHIELS (EASTLANDS) CEMETERY

Eastlands Cemetery is on Eastlands Road in Galashiels, in the Scottish Borders, and is maintained by Scottish Borders Council. Surviving burial records show it in use from at least the 1880s. The cemetery contains the graves of 53 identified Commonwealth service personnel from the First and Second World Wars, and these are commemorated by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
