LEOPOLDSBURG WAR CEMETERY

Awaiting photo
Leopoldsburg War Cemetery is in Leopoldsburg (Bourg-Léopold), in the Belgian province of Limburg, about 58 km north-east of Leuven. About 35 of its graves date from fighting in or near the town in May 1940. Many later burials came from a military hospital set up in Leopoldsburg in late 1944, and others were moved here from the surrounding district. It holds 767 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, 16 of them unidentified, together with some Polish and Dutch war graves.
