Douglas Haig Pitcairn was born in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland in 1916.
His Mother's maiden name was Logan.
He married Helen McG Gilfether in 1956 in Stoneyburn, Scotland.
He sadly died 10 years later in 1966 at the age of 49.
