Pte R.L. Stenhouse

Robert Leigh Stenhouse was born in January 1915 in Manchester, England. Son of William and Marion Stenhouse. His Mother's maiden name was George.


Robert was wounded in Normandy and then sadly, killed in Germany in April 1945 - just a couple of weeks before the end of the War. He is buried in Becklingen War Cemetery. "OUR BELOVED SON, KILLED HELPING TO DEFEND OUR HERITAGE. O REST IN THE LORD"
