Anthony McWhirter was born in April 1922 in Ayr, Scotland.
He enlisted in January 1942 and was a Labourer before the War. At time of enlistment he was 5 foot 5 and weighed just over 133lbs. His eyes were blue and hair was brown.
Anthony served in the middle East from October 1945 to November 1946. He was released from Service in February 1947.
