Cpl R McLung

Richard Joseph McClung was born in 1917 in Slamannan, near Falkirk, Scotland. His Mother's maiden name was McCarthy.


He was also wounded again later on in the Normandy Campaign, on August 6th 1944.


He was discharged from the Army in May 1945 and was living in Gloucester at the time.


Richard died in 2006 at the age of 89.
