Pte L. W. Cope

Lionel William Walter Cope was born in July 1923 in Edmonton, Essex. His Mother's maiden name was Skeates.


In the 1939 Register he was listed as an 'Unemployed Architects Clerk Seeking Work'.


He was discharged from the Army in July 1945 and married Mary A Waugh in 1947.


At the time of his medals being awarded - April 1950 - he was in Palmers Green, London.


He died in April 2020 in Ipswich, Suffolk.
