John Brooke Boyd was born in October 1920 in Reading, Berkshire.


Me married Mary S Middleton in Jan 1948 in St George's Square, Westminster, Middlesex. Best Man was Major Alistair Thorburn.


Capt. Boyd was the Command Company Adjutant.

Official documents state that he 'remained at duty' after being wounded on 19th July 1944


He was wounded again 9th December 1944


He was discharged from the Army on 31st December 1944.


At the time of claiming his medals in Feruary 1949, he was living in London, SW3.
