St Pancras Cemetery in East Finchley, north London, opened in 1854 on former Finchley Common land as London's first publicly owned cemetery. It forms part of the St Pancras and Islington Cemetery, which is listed Grade II* as a historic landscape, and it is managed by Camden Council. The CWGC commemorates 308 First World War and 208 Second World War service casualties here. More than 100 of their graves form a war graves plot, and a memorial there names those whose graves could not be individually marked.
