A Coy with an FOO of 7 Fd Regt moved into VIERLINGSBEEK before first light and lay up for enemy patrols.

During the day a MG did fire on one occasion in front of our troops, but beyond that all was quiet and no enemy came into the village.

Preparations were made for the move the next day into the posns West of the rly in the area of SMAKT, at present held by 2 LINCS.
