Little shelling and mortaring during the day. What there were was of a large calibre.

A Coy standing patrol reported an enemy patrol of six men coming up the railway. Except for this little enemy movement was seen during the day.

Patrols as usual reported nothing unusual except two houses on fire on D Coy's right flank in area 793312, which lit up the surrounding country side.

A nebelwerfer fired one charge from the East side of the railway at the 3-inch mortars.

One man was shaken and subsequently evacuated.
