Alternative Information (from books, personal accounts)
"As we approached Louvain we saw a huge fleet of aircraft forging north and later learned that this was part of the great airborne landing taking place in the Arnhem-Nijmegen area. Louvain itself — remembered well by some of us from the 1940 campaign — rose to welcome us tumultuously. We passed through into the country once more and in the early afternoon arrived in the area of Neerpelt, Lille St. Hubert and Petit Brogel."
